Oregon State University has received a 2011 National Needs Fellowship (NNF) award to provide an interdisciplinary platform for graduate education in the economics of mitigating and adapting to climate change. The Fellows will complete the Applied Economics graduate curriculum at Oregon State University which blends strong disciplinary skills in applied economics and policy with science-based understanding of biophysical and human dimensions of resource and environmental systems.
Eligibility:
Students who apply for the National Needs Fellowship should:
- Be a US Citizen or National
- Have strong interest in pursuing a degree primarily the economics of climate change, resource economics, economics of alternative energy and/or agricultural trade policy
- Be preparing for a career as an Applied Economist
- Be registered as a full-time student during the course of the Fellowship
- Have already completed one (1) year of full time study at the time of application
- Passed candidacy/qualifying exams
- Have been previously enrolled in their academic program at the same degree level
- Apply for the Applied Economics Graduate Program at Oregon State University. Application Materials
