The OSU Graduate Program in Applied Economics

Oregon State University's Graduate Program in Applied Economics provides curricula leading to the MA, MS, and PhD degrees in Applied Economics. The curricula provide, at both master's and doctoral levels, a foundation of rigorous courses in economic theory, and econometrics and other quantitative methods. Students employ economic theories, principles, and methods to examine real-world problems with significant attention to data and institutions

The program is offered by distinguished economists distributed across many academic departments at Oregon State University, including the Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics, the Department of Economics, the Department of Forest Ecosystems and Society, the Department of Forest Resources, Engineering and Management, and the Department of Public Health. Many students are supported by graduate teaching or graduate research assistantships. Applicants to the program may indicate interests in those assistantships. The Graduate School also provides information related to financing your graduate education.
