Incentives Offered to NSF Graduate Research Fellows

If you have recently been awarded a new NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, we extend our congratulations on your success! But before choosing your graduate institution, here's something you may want to know about Oregon State University.

NSF Graduate Research Fellows who choose OSU as their affiliate graduate institution will receive full tuition and fee support. In addition, you will be provided subsidized health insurance benefits (currently subsidized at 85%) under OSU's robust graduate assistant and fellow health insurance plan. Your out-of-pocket insurances may also be paid by your cost of education allowance, essentially providing 100% coverage for the graduate fellow premium (dependent coverage not included, but available on a self-pay basis.) And OSU will also reserve a portion of your annual cost of education allowance for your research expenses. As an OSU graduate fellow, you will also have access to travel insurance and workers' compensation coverage.

We believe you will find Oregon State University's offerings for NSF Graduate Research Fellows to be very competitive and quite comprehensive. For complete details, please contact OSU's Coordinating Official for NSF Graduate Research Fellows:
