Students making cheese at OSU Dairy Plant

Beaver Classic™ is an alpine-style specialty cheese, developed and produced by Oregon State University students using milk from the university’s dairy herd. It has a subtle, nutty flavor with creamy, buttery and caramelized notes.

Beaver Classic™ is based on cheese making traditions from France, Switzerland and Italy.

Beaver Classic™ Cheese, NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE, made its debut appearance at the September 8th OSU football game. During football season, it will be sold prior to all home games. (Look for the Beaver Classic™ tent in front of the Alumni Center at home football games.) You may also purchase Beaver Classic™ Cheese each Friday at the Department of Food Science and Technology, in Room 108 of Wiegand Hall, from 11 am to 1 pm.
