a.   The Department of Facilities Services is responsible for the normal operating costs of building systems at reasonable levels based on prudent operation with energy and resource conservation in mind. Higher levels of service are the responsibility of the using department.

b.   Refer to Equipment Maintenance and Repair policy for a definition of fixed equipment versus movable equipment, funding responsibility, and the service levels provided; how to set up maintenance contract with Facilities, and/or the cost estimate process.
