Internship and Job Search
College students quickly become aware of in college is the importance of acquiring work experience while still a student. With the assistance of the EOP staff, each student is encouraged to complete at least one internship before graduation. By improving, and proving, their skills in an actual work situation, students can show employers that they have worked as part of a team and can produce results. This experience can be listed on their resume, making them attractive to prospective employers. Also, students can often earn university credit and a stipend or a regular salary in these positions.
