Nutritional and management issues affecting calf performance
Research Interests: In general, research will focus
on different integral aspects of both pre-weaned and post-weaned beef
calves. Specifically, research studies will focus on nutritional and
management issues affecting calf performance (pre- and post-weaning),
health, and carcass development. These projects will revolve around
both conventional and forage-based beef programs, and include both economic
and environmental considerations.
