These free sites are useful in giving students and others some idea about
the content of a web page. In many, you can copy and paste in information
from a document, as well. Most of these do word-for-word translations, taking
no account of grammar and idiomatic expressions. As a result, the output
is far from what a human translator or even commercial translation software
can provide. Still, it can offer enough information about the content to
