Lin Crimshaw has been a bilingual educator for over 25 years. She was a bilingual classroom teacher for over 12 years (including several years as a Newcomer Program teacher), has been a bilingual resource teacher, and is currently a bilingual program specialist for the Salem-Keizer School District. Her responsibilities include: staff development, ELL program design and implementation, grant writing and mentoring. Lin has also been an adjunct instructor in ESL/Bilingual Education at Western Oregon University since 1994. You can contact Lin at crimshaw_lin@salkeiz.k12.or.us

Laura Curry is a nationally-certified Guided Language Acquisition Design (GLAD) Trainer, and has trained teachers and administrators from more than 30 school districts in Oregon and Washington in the last five years, as well as presenting at several national conferences on GLAD. She is currently a Title I Spanish literacy specialist in the Forest Grove School District, where she has adapted the GLAD approach of teaching language through content for instruction in Spanish. During more than 25 years in bilingual/ELL education, she has been a kindergarten teacher, a Spanish FLES teacher, developed a two-way immersion program, worked in publishing of assessments and curriculum for ELL students, coordinated a Migrant Education program, trained throughout the Western states on early childhood and bilingual education, and been a contributing author to most of the 28 GLAD units produced by the Forest Grove School District. Eileen Waldschmidt is an associate professor in the new School of Education at Oregon State University where she coordinates the ESOL/Bilingual endorsement programs. She has 19 years of experience as an elementary classroom teacher in the Albuquerque Public School District in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Ten of those years were spent in Spanish/English bilingual programs. Her research interests include critical pedagogy, creative drama in bilingual classrooms, and issues related to Bilingual and ESOL teacher preparation and professional development.
