Learning Center Open Hours

During Open Hours you may come to the Learning Center to study, work on the computers, read, watch videos, or use any of the other resources of the Learning Center such as CDs, language and pronunciation programs, and TOEFL materials.
Writing and pronunciation assistants are available during some Open Hours to help you solve problems with writing, composition, vocabulary, idioms, pronunciation, conversation, and reading aloud. They will work together with you and help you monitor your progress. However, you will correct your papers, and you will be responsible for practicing your pronunciation.
Appointments can be scheduled for up to twenty-five minutes. You will meet in the ELI Learning Center. Before you come, make an appointment on the sign-up sheet located on a clipboard on the WRAP desk in the Learning Center or call us at 737-1881. Try to make appointments 24 hours in advance. If you can't come to a scheduled appointment, please let us know as soon as possible.
For your appointment with a writing assistant, bring your homework assignment and your paper. For pronunciation help, bring your homework assignment or questions.
You are limited to two appointments per week. If you fail to show up for two appointments in a row, you will be denied WRAP help for the remainder of the term.
