Aim: Writing – sharing information

Level: All levels

Time: Fluid

Preparation: A large bulletin board at the entrance of the school

Procedure

1. Bring several newspapers and books
2. Assign students to small groups
3. Give each group a book or a newspaper
4. A spokesperson for each group reports about the group reading
5. The class asks questions for more information
6. A summary is given to the teacher to be corrected
7. Choose the most interesting papers, edit them and post them on the wall newsletter
8. Leave the papers there for a week

Note

This writing activity will give students pride in learning and motivation in sharing with other people (visitors, teachers, etc. …)

Besides, the new writers will be known all over the school.
