Biographical Information

Research Interests

Ayça Tekin-Koru's research is in international economics, with particular emphasis on the international factor movements. Her recent research focuses on the exploration of deriving forces behind the diverse market entry strategies employed by multinational corporations both theoretically and empirically and the effect of corruption on foreign direct investment. Parallel to these, she has a newly emerging research agenda on the role of economic integration in multinational firm activity, particularly in North America. Professor Tekin-Koru has so far published in such journals as Applied Economics and Journal of Economics and Finance.

Teaching

Professor Tekin-Koru teaches courses in international economics (trade and finance) and introductory macroeconomics. She has also taught at Purdue University as a visiting assistant professor from 2001 to 2003.
