Biographical InformationAndrew Stivers, Assistant Professor, received his Ph.D. from University of Texas at Austin in 2001. He joined the OSU Economics Department in 2001. Research InterestsProfessor Stivers studies applications of game theory in the regulation of information and language in the market. Recent research has included work on optimal market segmentation under economies of scope in quality and optimal rules for regulating market language, including the use and definitions of "Organic" and "married." He has published in Economics Letters, Politics, Philosophy and Economics and Information Economics and Policy. TeachingProfessor Stivers teaches courses in micro-economics and industrial organization.
