Local Ag Statistics
Annual agricultural statistics reports are generated each year for central Oregon. The lead agent for vegetable and grass seed, peppermint and other high value crops puts together a report specific to these crops that include Jefferson, Deschutes and Crook counties.
Separate reports are published by OSU agricultural economist that includes both crop and livestock by county. These provide an important overview, but lack specifics for the high value crops that are the foundations of Jefferson County agriculture in particular.
