1a Hair point long and conspicuous, densely papillose and with distinctive multicellular teeth on the edge, the teeth extending down the upper margin of the leaf as part of the hair point decurrency; leaf cells with flat topped thickening over the cross walls (true papillae according to Bednarek-Ochyra) but without high, conical papillae.
