The Team

The Office of Advocacy is directed by attorney Patricia Lacy and supported by a staff of trained student interns. Under the guidance and instruction of Patricia Lacy, and complemented by the work of the intern staff, the Office of Advocacy is capable and ready to work for you and for all students of Oregon State University.

Ms. Lacy works with students whose issues arise from on-campus matters or in areas closely related to the university such as fraternities, sororities, Co-Op Houses or The Gem. Information and a biography of Patricia are available through the link to your left.

Currently, the Office of Advocacy is staffed by five interns. All interns with the office are students, actively pursuing undergraduate degrees.  Each intern carries with them a unique skill-set and the ability to help our clients achieve their goals as they work with the office.  To learn more about each of the five interns, please follow the links to your left.

Internship Opportunities

Student interns are hired periodically to assist in the Office of Advocacy. The responsibilities of these interns vary, but tasks include daily management and file organization, as well as researching the many issues facing students on campus. It is a great opportunity to familiarize oneself with the workings of a non-traditional office as well as get involved with the many different departments and services at OSU. Please visit our Employment page for more information on internship opportunties.
