Major (ret.) Shawn “Butch” Bleeker
I was raised in New Hampshire and graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Business and Economics. I am a 26 year Army veteran with the majority of that time in overseas assignments, with over 14 years in Germany. I began as an enlisted Engineer and retired as a Field Artillery Officer. I had a number of assignments and have deployed in support of Operations Allied Force, Northern Watch and Iraqi Freedom. I discovered distance running in high school, which has become my primary hobby and obsession. My other hobby is Porsche cars, due to my time in Germany driving on the autobahn. I still drive a Porsche, although not a fast as I did in Germany. I am currently the MS III Instructor and the Beaver Battalion Operations Officer.
