Army ROTC Programs for
High School Students

You can get a FULL four-year Army ROTC scholarship even before you take your seat for your first class at OSU!

The Four-Year Scholarship is a highly-competitive program. Applications are currently being accepted for the 2010-11 academic year.

NOTE: There is no one "set" deadline to apply for Army ROTC scholarships. Scholarships are granted at multiple times during the year, so if you miss the application window for one scholarship, there are still opportunities to obtain one.

BENEFITS

  • Full tuition & fees OR room & board (cadet's option)
  • Book allowance
  • Monthly stipend of up to $5,000 a year

REQUIREMENTS

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be under the age of 31 as of December 31 in the year in which the cadet is commissioned
  • Have a high school GPA of at least 2.50
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Score a minimum of 920 on the SAT (math/verbal) or 19 on the ACT (excluding the required writing test scores)
  • Meet physical standards
  • Agree to accept a commission and serve in the Army on Active Duty or in a Reserve Component (Army Reserve or Army National Guard)
YOUR COMMITMENT

  • Serve full time in the Army for four years
  • Selected cadets may choose to serve part time in the Army Reserve or Army National Guard while pursuing a civilian career
