Absence Make-up

Make up work is only available for pre-arranged absences.

Attendance in this course is required in order to obtain the trainer certification for agricultural equipment safety. If you have a necessary absence, you must prearrange the absence with instructor by e-mail (shawn.anderson@oregonstate.edu) with date(s) and reason(s) for absence(s) and follow the procedure as outlined below:

If absence is for April 9 &11
Myron Shenk's Farm Accident Slides - Make arrangements to view slides and video. Then create a Lesson Plan and PowerPoint Presentation based upon the Myron's presentation.

If absence is for from lab or class.
1. Select, check-out, and view an instructional video that relates to the information presented in the lesson. Submit a typed evaluation of the video and determine whether or not it should be used in an instructional lesson.
2. Meet individually with the TA's to make up the lab.

If absence is for April 18, May 30, and Horse Lab
Check out video from 112 Strand and create a worksheet for student use from the video viewed. Submit a student version and a teacher version with answers.
