Hello,

Welcome to New Student Orientation 2010! NSO is designed to be an introduction into the Air Force ROTC program.  It is a five day course with a strong emphasis on building self-confidence, teamwork, and helping to set you up for success during your college and Air Force ROTC experience.  It’s an excellent opportunity to build friendships with your future classmates while learning the basics of Air Force Drill and Ceremonies, military bearing and discipline, as well as taking the first steps to build a cohesive class that you will be with for the next four years. You will also have the chance to learn about the many different opportunities the Air Force can offer to you.  The foundation for your experience will be the Air Force Core Values: Integrity First, Service Before Self, and Excellence In All We Do. Throughout NSO, the highly professional, highly experienced training staff will demonstrate the Core Values, model the qualities of an Air Force officer candidate, and be the basic instructors of the NSO curriculum. The New Student Orientation 2010 staff is highly motivated and dedicated to providing the fundamentals necessary for your success as a Cadet in the Air Force ROTC program and as a student at your college.
