
Lieutenant Colonel David S. Jeffery is the Professor of Air Force Studies (PAS) and Commander of the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) Detachment 685 at Oregon State University He teaches the AS 400-level cadets and is responsible to the AFROTC Commandant for maintaining good order and discipline, unit morale, and Air Force standards. Prior to becoming the commander of Detachment 685, Colonel Jeffery was assigned to the Global Operations Directorate, Headquarters United States Strategic Command. The colonel received his commission through Officer Training School and has served in a variety of space and missile operations, training, technology innovation, communication and staff positions.
