Reach
Dataset
Our Reach Dataset summarizes
habitat unit level information and gives
an overview of the conditions within the reach or section of stream.
It should be a reference point for later comparative work or for the analysis
of stream conditions.
Habitat Unit Dataset
The Habitat Unit dataset includes all of the
unit data for the entire survey. It is within this dataset that the
most noticeable annual change will occur. There will be changes in
the distribution, size and location of habitat types annually. This
dataset is not intended to be a map of the absolute distribution of habitat
types. Rather, it indicates the condition of the stream at the time
of the survey.

Data Acquisition
In order to make our data easily
available to both public and private groups, we have attached our information
to a map of Oregon based on 5th field HUC's (Hydrologic Units). To
help in locating yourself, we have set up the 5th field hucs based on general
portions of the state. Click on the portion of the state that you
are interested in (NW, SW, NE, SE) and you will be linked to the 5th field
huc map for that area.
