Project Objectives

1) Determine the status of Oregon chub Oregonichthys crameri populations and their habitat in the Willamette River basin.

2) Estimate the population size of existing populations (age 1+) of Oregon chub.

3) Investigate the feasibility of reintroducing Oregon chub into ponds and streams within their historic range in the Willamette River basin.
