Field Crews

We are not hiring at this time.  Please check back for positions available for the 2009 field seasons. The position announcement will be posted here when openings are available.  We will begin the hiring process in February and March for spring and summer positions.

All of our positions typically require working in all types of weather and hiking up to 10 miles per day in remote, rugged terrain.  Employees will be responsible for accurately recording field data, maintaining equipment and using topographic maps and GPS to locate sample sites.  Additional duties may include entering data into computer databases and writing field reports.

Sample ponds, sloughs and back waters in the Willamette Valley using traps, nets and non-motorized boats.

March 2 - July 31 Conduct creel in Klamath Lake and major tributaries.

Salary: $1,831/month; may be higher depending on previous employment in this classification.  Health, dental, and life insurance benefits available for positions lasting longer than 3 months.
