At NWREC since: May of 2002
Duties: I assist several researchers and extension professionals at NWREC. I assist Joe Defrancesco with the IR4 Ornamental Program, conducting efficacy and crop safety trials on nursery crops.
In addition to ornamental nursery crops work, I assist Christmas tree specialist Chal Landgren in his program at NWREC. Many projects include traveling to locations throughout western Oregon and southwest Washington doing various field work, research trials and tree evaluations.
When I am not outside working, I am usually at my desk writing and assisting with content management and development of two websites including the Nursery, Greenhouse and Christmas tree site and the North Willamette Research and Extension Center.
Education: A.A.S Ornamental Horticulture, Clackamas Community College, Oregon City, Oregon.
Home Town: I am a native Oregonian and have lived in the Willamette Valley all of my life. I currently reside in Keizer.
