          My primary responsibility is to provide leadership for blueberry educational programs in the North Willamette District where the most of the state’s blueberry industry is concentrated. I also conduct applied research in blueberries and to communicate research findings to growers through various means of informal education.  I strive to find the right balance among needs assessment, extension education, and applied research so a research-based educational program can be effectively delivered to the Oregon blueberry industry.
