Fisheries Benefits to All Generations: The Role of Economics
The third biennial NAAFE Forum in 2005 was held at the University of British Columbia in beautiful Vancouver, BC, Canada, May 25-27, 2005. Dr. Ussif Rashid Sumaila headed the organizing effort in collaboration with NAAFE President Jon G. Sutinen and other NAAFE Board members.

- In commemoration of the fiftieth anniversary of the publication of his groundbreaking
paper "The Fishery: the Objectives of Sole Ownership", Dr. Anthony Scott received an award from the North American Association of Fisheries Economists.
