IIFET 2004 Planning Visit to Japan

Dr. Yoshiaki Matsuda of Kagoshima University of Fisheries heads the IIFET Japan 2004 Committee. Dr. Tadashi Yamamoto, 1994 IIFET Distinguished Service Award winner, will ensure participants a complete experience of Japanese fisheries. Ms. Minako Nakagawa assists Mr. Niimi at the IIFET 2004 Secretariat. Dr. Toyokazu Naito of Kyoto Gakuen University will coordinate the conference Scientific Committee. The IIFET 2004 Japan Committee (Dr. Naito, Dr. Okamoto, Dr. Shindo, Mr. Niimi, Dr. Kawasaki, Dr. Yamamoto, Dr. Matsuda, and Ms. Nakagawa) met with Ann Shriver in Tokyo. The reputation of the Japanese people for warm hospitality is well deserved.
