IIFET 2008 Vietnam: OECD Prize for Best Policy Paper
| Please read and follow these steps very carefully.
The criteria for the prize are as follows:
The OECD Prize for Best Policy Paper will be awarded to the paper presented at the IIFET 2008 Vietnam Conference which most successfully addresses a contemporary fisheries policy issue, based on strong economic analysis and providing sound advice to policymakers. The scope for eligible paper topics to be considered for the Prize is very broad, although the papers must be original work which has not previously been published. Eligible papers may address issues in either OECD or non-OECD countries and may cover any aspect of fisheries policy, including (but not limited to) fisheries management, fisheries trade, aquaculture development, seafood processing, marketing, community development, small scale fisheries, etc. In selecting the winning paper, the Review Committee will be looking for innovative and effective application of economic analysis, addressing a policy problem in the sector, coupled with clear policy insights and messages emerging from the analysis.
