AirportsPortland International Airport (PDX) is 90 miles (145 kilometers) from Corvallis, and is the closest international airport. Two smaller airports, Eugene (40 miles, 64 kilometers) and Corvallis (6 miles, 10 kilometers) may also be used to reach Corvallis. All three airports require ground transportation arrangements, which must be made prior to arrival.Corvallis, Oregon is an easy 2 hour drive from the Portland, Oregon Airport (PDX). Pam Garland is arranging round trip Airport shuttle service to Corvallis, which can be arranged by checking the appropriate box on the registration form, or with Teel's Travel Planners. From the Portland airport a special conference rate of $55 round trip will be given to those who sign up on the registration form. (The usual rate is $68.) Another alternative is a 25 minute flight in a 9-seat airplane with Harbor Airlines. Check their Website for more information, or you can call them (toll free from within the U.S.) at 1-800-359-3220. Wherever Alaska Airlines flies Harbor Air can be booked as a through ticket. For example, if you come in to the U.S.A. at LAX, you could book through to Corvallis from there with an Alaska Airline ticket. Or, contact Teel's Travel Planners. Rental Cars are available at all three airports. Best rates can be obtained by making your arrangements as early as possible. Many of the companies have easy-to-use online booking.
