Best Student Paper Award
The IIFET Executive Committee is pleased to announce a new prize for Best Student Paper, to be presented at IIFET 2000. This year's award will include a $500 cash payment.
To be eligible for the competition, authors must:
- be currently enrolled in a graduate program or have completed such a program no more than 12 months before submitting a paper
- complete the normal abstract submission process
- submit the completed paper to Richard S. Johnston, Conference Organizer, by May 10. 2000
- accompany the paper with a letter of reference from the student's department chair or advisor
Standard journal refereeing criteria will be used.
The Executive Committee will review papers and grant the award prior to the conference so that the money may be used to support conference participation. The award-winning paper must be presented by the author at the conference.
