College Gambling

Throughout the country, on many college campuses, gambling is viewed as a social or recreational activity. Whether it’s a poker tournament or sporting event, gambling has become a popular pastime for many students. For the majority of students, gambling presents few negative consequences. However it is not without risk, as 1 in every 20 college students will develop a gambling problem. For these students, there is the reality of academic, personal, and financial stress.
