OSU Faculty Honored With Distinguished Teaching Award

At the 17th annual meeting of the Special Interest Group of the Mathematical Association of America on Research in Undergraduate Education (SIGMAA on RUME) in Denver, an award was given for the best paper in the proceedings of last year's meeting, along with two Honorable Mentions.  One Honorable Mention went to Elise Lockwood and a coauthor, and the other went to Eric Weber and his graduate student Alison Dorko.  Elise was the winner of this award the previous year.

Tevian Dray (Math) was named winner of the 2014 Distinguished Teaching Award of the Pacific Northwest Section of the Mathematical Association of America, which will be presented at the section meeting in June.
