Making Paper Airplanes to Achieve Learning Outcomes

How can making paper airplanes in class lead to higher learning? Some learning outcomes are difficult to achieve using only a lecture. Toni Doolen has designed a series of interactive simulations for her Lean Manufacturing class, which she uses to reinforce difficult and abstract topics. In this interview, Doolen describes her activities and how she implements them. In these interview highlight clips, she is joined by Blake Giles, a graduate student, who describes his experiences in the classroom.
