The three-day conference will feature presentations from graduate students across the Northwest who are interested in teaching and learning in a variety of settings (K-12 and university classrooms, outreach venues, museums, zoos, homes and so on).  This is an opportunity for graduate students (and other emerging researchers) to share their work with peers and other researchers who share their interests.  Participants are coming from Portland State, Washington State University, Idaho State University and University of Washington and they want OSU to be well-represented.  Anyone interested in research on teaching and learning or improving their own teaching/facilitation practice is invited to attend. 

Conference Activities:

Friday Evening:  Networking and Social Event

Saturday: Conference Sessions, Invited Speakers, Research Work Session, Discussion Groups

Sunday:  Career building workshops (topics: CV writing, publishing your work, preparing job talks, developing a research agenda, writing grants)

Registration Costs:

GradTLA Members--$10

Non-Members--$15 (includes GradTLA membership dues for OSU students)

Late Registration--$20 (after October 20)
