I'm Beth Wasylow, Ph.D; I'm a Licensed Psychologist at CAPS. My theory of counseling is a blend of feminist theory, cognitive behavioral counseling strategies, interpersonal methodology, and systems counseling. I believe these theories compliment each other in providing services to diverse clientele, in combination these theories focus on individual needs, systemic needs and barriers, empowerment, ownership of one's own process, and functional strategies that can be applied to a variety of presenting concerns. I hale from the Midwest but have been thoroughly enchanted by the natural beauty and kind people of Oregon since my arrival in 2002.
