THE 6 "C's" OF ASSERTIVESS

  1. Keep cool.
  2. Consider the other person's side of the matter.
  3. Communicate your feelings.
  4. Clarify how you would like the other person to behave.
  5. State consequences, both negative (if the behavior continues) and positive (if the behavior stops).
  6. Correct timing - choose the right moment when you and the other person are calm
