Hilton Garden Inn
The headquarter hotel for the symposium is the Hilton Garden Inn, located adjacent to the meeting facilities. The organizers of the symposium have negotiated a discounted room rate of $99 per night (for single and double rooms), $109 per night (for triple rooms) and $119 per night (for quad rooms. All rooms will also have 10% room tax added to the price listed above. To make reservations, please choose do so by one of the following options:

Holiday Inn Express
A block of rooms has also been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express, located in downtown Corvallis approximately two miles from the meeting facilities. The organizers of the symposium have negotiated a discounted room rate of $89 per night for all rooms. Rooms will also have a 10% room tax added to the price listed above. To make reservations, please call the hotel at (541) 752-0800.

For both hotels, reservations must be made by June 13, 2008 in order to receive the discounted room rate. Please indicate that you are with the Vaccinium Symposium when making your reservation.

On-campus Housing:

In addition, symposium participants can choose to stay in the on-campus residence halls. Rates for Halsell Hall are as follows:

$50 for single occupancy
$40 for double occupancy (with roommate)

Getting to Corvallis:

By Air: Corvallis is served by Portland International Airport (PDX) which has many airline connections (United, Northwest, Southwest, American, Continental, Delta, Alaska) and the Eugene Regional Airport. Corvallis is approximately 90 miles from PDX. Shuttle service through HUT Shuttle is available every 90 minutes to/from Corvallis.On-demand shuttle service is available from the Eugene Regional Airport (45 minutes to the South of Corvallis) through OmniShuttle.

By Land: Corvallis is easily accessible by auto via Interstate 5.

On-Campus Parking: The cost to park on-campus between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. is $1.00 per hour (for up to four hours) or $5.00 per day. These costs only apply on weekdays. Ample parking is available near the meeting facilities and the on-campus residence halls. To obtain a parking permit you will need to go to one of the many kiosks found in the parking structure (one block north of the CH2M HILL Alumni Center) or the parking lot next to Reser Stadium (across the street from the LaSells Stewart Center).

Driving Directions:
Corvallis is located off of Interstate 5. If you plan to rent a car at either PDX or the Eugene Airport, driving directions to OSU's meeting facilities can be found here.
