Description: One-day free Oregon Remote Sensing Workshop (Wednesday, February 14) followed by a half-day training session* (Thursday, February 15) on basic image processing held on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, Oregon. *small lab fee applies.

Who should attend? Users of imagery and image products in Oregon.

Purpose: To bring together individuals from local, state, regional, and tribal levels using remote sensing imagery and sharing access to acquired imagery in the State of Oregon.

Workshop Objectives:
1. Educate potential users in remote sensing applications.
2. Understand the remote sensing users and needs in Oregon.
3. Facilitate imagery contributions to Oregon's Imagery Portal.
 
Registration
Online Registration is now CLOSED. Onsite registration will begin at 8:00am on Wednesday, February 14th.

For payments being made by OUS index, the accountant for OSU Conference Services will process the payment and provide a record of the transaction for your information. If you have chosen to pay by Purchase Order, an invoice will be sent to you shortly.

Receipts:
Original receipts will be distributed at the conference. If you need a receipt in advance of the conference for reimbursement purposes, please contact OSU Conference Services at 1-800-678-6311 to request a copy of your receipt.

Cancellations and Refunds:
All cancellation requests need to be made in writing (via email or regular mail) on or before Jan. 31, 2007. Requests for refunds after the cancellation cut-off date will not be granted, however substitutions will be allowed.

Parking
Free parking is available in the lot east of the Hilton Garden Inn accessible from Western Blvd and along the street west of 35th and Jefferson Way. If you wish to park anywhere else on campus, permits are required and may be purchased for $5 per day from parking lot kiosks or by contacting OSU Parking Services directly at (541) 737-2583.

Attendees are responsible for all hotel reservations.

There are a select number of rooms available at the Hilton Garden Inn-Corvallis at a special group rate + tax until Jan. 13th, please mention that you are with the Remote Sensing Workshop upon booking.
