Barriers and lessons learned will be discussed. Presenters: Sally Helton, David Putnam, Jon Potter, Dean Richards, Lisa Bates and Tammy Rasmussen
District Level Data Analysis & Action Planning: Bridging the Gap between Behavior, Academic & Implementation Data
Morning Session:
Lights, camera, action - producing district level change from a Hollywood perspective. All successful systems contain a similar set of essential components which must be present in order for an idea to be realized in an efficient amount of time with consistently excellent outcomes. Whether yours is a tragedy, comedy, or something in between, come hear how EBISS and Hollywood productions have a lot in common.
Afternoon Session 1:
Learn powerful visual strategies to display your district data with impact. A real district example will be presented and attendees will be given the tools and time to create their own, using their own data. See afternoon session 2 for what you should bring to maximize the value of this hour.
Afternoon Session 2:
Looking at data from a district perspective using the T.I.P.S. protocol. This process will be modeled by a district that has had success with using the EBISS framework. Participants will be given the opportunity to prepare their own data for their next EBISS meeting and will leave with a plan in hand. Non-EBISS districts are welcome to attend. To get the most out of this session, attendees are advised to bring a laptop with wireless internet capability, and access to your district data systems such as SWIS, DIBELS, AIMSweb, Easy CBM, or similar. Wireless internet access will be provided by the conference facility.
