Faculty Assessment Academy -  OSU

Goal

To promote assessment activities in academic and academic support units as an ongoing institutional process that enhances student learning experiences for all undergraduate and graduate students. This will establish networks to support ongoing assessment at all levels.

Purpose

1. The Faculty Assessment Academy will showcase the best practices in Student Learning Outcomes-based Assessment already in existence at OSU and mentor others who can learn and take this knowledge to improve assessment processes in their units.

 

2. The Academy will honor and reward faculty for mentoring others in developing valuable assessment programs.

3. Faculty Assessment Academy will help advance the ongoing efforts in the Center for Teaching, Learning and Assessment (CTLA) to support faculty development for assessment.
