Housing Information

On-Campus Residence Halls:
ASV 2007 participants are encouraged to stay in the on-campus residence halls located adjacent to OSU's conference facilities. All residence halls are furnished with linens and basic amenities (they are not air-conditioned, however weather conditions in July are usually moderate). Most accommodations are double rooms with 2 extra-long twin beds. A limited number of single rooms are available. The residence hall fee for each night includes a full breakfast service in the nearby Arnold Dining Center and dinner at the McNary Dining Center.

Rate Per Person:
Single Occupancy: $55/night per person
Double Occupancy: $45/night per person

For residence hall accommodations, housing requests need to be received by July 1, 2007. Accommodations may be reserved by filling out the on-line registration form and indicating your on-campus housing needs. Housing reservations made after July 1 are subject to room availability. Full payment is due with your registration fees. Changes to either your arrival or departure date must be made by July 1. In the event of late arrival or early departure, unused portions of the on-campus housing fees cannot be refunded.

Headquarter Hotel:
The headquarter hotel of the conference is the Hilton Garden Inn, located across the street from OSU's conference facilities. The 156 room hotel was built in 2003 to compliment the campus meeting facilities. We have negotiated the discounted rate of $89/night plus tax for your stay.

Local Corvallis shuttle service for ASV 2007 will also stop at the following hotels:

Motel 6 - Located on 9th Street (2 miles from OSU). We have negotiated the discounted room rate of $47/single or $53/double per night plus tax for your stay. To book your room, please call 541-758-9125. Please make sure to mention that you are with the American Society for Virology to get the discounted room rate.

Super 8 Motel - Located on 2nd Street (2 miles from OSU). We have negotiated the discounted rate of $52/night plus tax for your stay. To book your room please call 541-758-8088.

Holiday Inn Express - Located on the bank of the Willamette River (2 miles from OSU). We have negotiated the discounted rate of $84/night plus tax for your stay.

Salbasgeon Inns & Suites - The all-suite hotel located on 9th Street (2 miles from OSU). We have negotiated the discounted rate of $99/night plus tax for your stay.

Best Western Grand Manor Inn - Located on 9th Street (2 miles from OSU). We have negotiated the discounted rate of $79/night plus tax for your stay. To book your room please call 541-758-8571.

Additional Accommodations in Albany, Oregon
(~15 minutes from Corvallis):
Please visit the Albany Visitors Association for additional hotel options. You will need to have a rental car if you choose to stay in Albany, as no shuttles will be available to/from Albany hotels.
