General Information
- No tickets are required for the ceremony, and graduates may bring as many friends and family members as they wish. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. Not all sections of Reser Stadium will be available due to restricted visibility of the stage. Gates A, B and C open at 11:30 a.m.
- For information on lodging and dining, consult the Corvallis Convention & Visitors Bureau.
- Commencement is a rain or shine event. Although umbrellas are not permitted in Reser Stadium, sun visors or rain ponchos are suggested. Sunscreen is also recommended.
Routes to Campus
- If you're traveling on Interstate 5, take Exit 228, Oregon Highway 34. Look for the signs reading, "Corvallis/Oregon State University." Go west on Highway 34 for about 10 miles to Corvallis.
- Follow the Highway 34 signs for the bypass to Reser Stadium. You'll turn left at the traffic light just before you enter Corvallis.

Parking on Campus
- Parking lots throughout the campus are open for visitor parking, unless officially designated as no parking at all times.
- Disabled parking spots are reserved for cars with DMV permits.
- In addition to the parking lot at Reser Stadium, there is a parking structure on 26th Street and Washington Avenue, as well as a parking lot along Washington Avenue between 14th and 15th Streets.
- Parking for recreational vehicles is available in the parking lot at 13th Street and Washington Avenue. Additional RV parking is available south of Western Boulevard, behind the Hilton Garden Inn and softball complex.

Shuttle Bus Service
- The OSU shuttle bus will run throughout the campus and to and from Reser Stadium from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shuttle pick-up points are marked by signs, but you can also wave at a shuttle bus, and the driver will stop for you.

Campus Eateries, Retail Operations and Entertainment
The Memorial Union will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. A live band will entertain on the MU Quad from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
You can buy refreshments at several MU eateries:
- Bing's Café (Weatherford Hall) 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Bites Convenience Store 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Blimpie 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Carl's Jr. 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Country Store (Arnold Cafeteria) 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- JavaStop 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Panda Express 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Woodstock's 11 a.m. to noon
The OSU Bookstore will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
General Assistance Information
- Information Booths on the main concourse level at Reser Stadium are staffed to answer questions and offer assistance.

Reser Stadium Information
Stadium Safety and Security
In order to provide the safest campus experience possible, Oregon State University continues to employ security measures designed to reduce risks and prevent incidents. One measure established is the visual search of small bags, such as purses, totes and diaper bags before entering the stadium.
- Guests are encouraged to arrive early and allow for additional time when entering the stadium.
- Guests are prohibited from entering the stadium with coolers, backpacks and large bags.
- Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited in Reser Stadium.
Stadium Access and Seating
- Guests may enter Reser Stadium through Gates A, B and C at the corner of 26th Street and Ralph Miller Drive. Gates open at 11:30 a.m.
- Elevators and escalators are located inside Gate C and will take guests to the club level of the stadium.
- Seating is on a first-come, first served basis. There are no reserved seats. Guests will be seated in the south and end zone sections of Reser Stadium. No seating will be available in the north sections because of restricted visibility to the stage.
- Special accommodations for elderly guests or those with disabilities are available. Call the Commencement Hotline at 541-737-9390 for details.
- Degree candidates are seated according to diagrams under ceremony instructions for bachelor's, master's, professional and doctoral degrees.
First Aid Assistance
- A first aid station is located on the main concourse near section 119.
Stadium Services
- Concession stands and coffee carts are located on the concourse.
- The OSU Bookstore will have memorabilia sales on the concourse
- An ATM is located on the south end of the concourse.
- You can order a video of the commencement ceremony on the main concourse. You can also download an order form to order a video after the ceremony.
President's Reception
- Immediately following the ceremony, President and Mrs. Ray will host a reception for new graduates and their guests at the CH2M HILL Alumni Center. All are welcome.
