General Information for Special Accommodations
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking is located throughout the campus and is indicated in blue on the parking map. The elevators to the upper levels of the stadium are located inside of gate C. Additional accessible parking is available in other lots, which will be served by accessible shuttle buses. Vehicles using accessible parking spaces must display the appropriate Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) permit. These permits are available only from DMV.
Shuttle Service
The OSU shuttle bus will run throughout the campus and to and from Reser Stadium from 11 a.m. to 5 pm. Shuttle pick-up points adjacent to accessible parking places are marked by signs. You can also download a Shuttle Schedule and Map (PDF).
Ceremony Site Access (Elderly and Guests with Disabilities)
Access to the commencement site (Reser Stadium/Parker Plaza) may be challenging to guests who may have difficulty walking long distances from the parking lots and shuttle stop locations. Guests who may have difficulty walking long distances should consider bringing a wheelchair.Accessible Entrance
Easy access to Reser Stadium can be made through gates A-C on the northeast corner of the stadium at the corner of 26th and Ralph Miller Drive. Elevators and escalators are located inside of Gate C and will take you to the Stadium club level of the stadium.
Wheelchair Seating
Wheelchair seating is available throughout the stadium on main level, upper level (Stadium Club) and overflow seating on the Loge level. One companion can be seated with the individual who uses a wheelchair. If you need assistance finding seating please see one of the volunteers or guest services representatives inside the stadium.
Alternative Seating
Guests who are sensitive to various climatic conditions or who would be more comfortable in indoor seating may view the televised ceremony from Stadium Club located on the upper level of the Stadium. The ceremony is captioned.
Sign Language Interpreters
A reserved section is located in the front rows of seating on the field for guests who need an advantageous sight line to the sign language interpreters. Because seating is limited, only two companions may accompany the guests who are eligible for seating in this section. Please contact a volunteer for assistance in accessing the seating on the field.
TV Monitors with Closed Captioning
Monitors with closed captioning will be located in the Stadium Club located upper level and in the Loge. All areas are accessible through gate C.
Assistive Listening Devices
Assistive listening devices are available from the volunteers at the Information Booth on the main concourse.
General Information and Assistance
Volunteers in the Information Booth on the main concourse level are available to answer questions and offer assistance.
First Aid Station
A First Aid Station is located on the main concourse near section 119.
