Women Studies Minor

The Minor in Women Studies facilitates systematic study of Women Studies knowledge. It provides the exploration of gender as a focal point of analysis in determining differentials of power and opportunity, and recognizes the interaction of gender with a complex matrix of such fundamental categories as class, race, age, ethnicity, nationality, and sexual identity. Students are expected to take the bulk of their coursework toward the Minor from core and elective courses offered by the Women Studies Program. A total of 27 credits is required for the Minor, with at least 12 of these credits at the upper division level. For more information contact Amy Leer at amy.leer@oregonstate.edu or call 541-737-9528.
