Hawaii International Conference on Arts & Humanities
Janet Lee, Susan Shaw, Becky Warner (Program faculty,
Sociology), and Anita Helle (Program faculty, English) attended the
Hawaii International Conference on Arts & Humanities in Waikiki
in January. They presented a panel on "Crossing Borders:
Integrating the Humanities and Social Sciences in the Study of
Women." After the conference, Janet and Susan went to the Big
Island to speak in Women's Studies classes at the University of
Hawaii at Hilo.

Faculty and graduate students of Women Studies attended the
Northwest Regional Women's Studies Workshop held November 4th, 2006
in Spokane, WA.
Oct 31, 2006, Rep. Darlene Hooley, Oregon's 5th District,
visited OSU and spoke to faculty, staff and students at the OSU
Women's Center.
A wonderful time was had by all at the 2006 Feminist
Feast held at the Women's Center October 5th!
