Women Studies Service Learning
FEMINIST ORGANIZING IN NEW YORK CITY & WASHINGTON DC

This one of a kind course is designed for students who want to take the feminist and women studies knowledge they have learned in the classroom to the streets of New York City and Washington DC for a service learning experience. This is a summer, on-site class.
Students on this month long trip will partake in a variety of activities, some service and volunteer work, and some cultural and entertaining. Some of the course's primary goals will be to meet and talk with women's organizations, feminist activists, and political groups with the aim of bringing theory to the front-lines of social change.
