Ted Leeson has written three books of personal essays: Inventing Montana: Dispatches from the Madison Valley; Jerusalem Creek: Journeys into Driftless Country; and The Habit of Rivers.  He has also worked as a freelance writer for the past 25 years.  His essays and articles have appeared in Men’s Journal, The Utne Reader, Audubon, Big Sky Journal, and Gray’s Sporting Journal, among others.  He teaches creative nonfiction and freelance magazine writing.
