Three School faculty were honored this year for excellence in teaching and research activity
The OSU Faculty Teaching Excellence Award honors unusually significant and meritorious achievement in teaching and scholarship which enhances effective instruction. This award is presented in 2012 to Peter Betjemann, Associate Professor of English.
The Robert Frank Award for Research and Creative Activity recognizes CLA faculty who have enhanced the research profile of the college and serve as an inspiration for other scholars in their field. This award was presented in 2012 to Lisa Ede, Professor of English.
The Bill and Caroline Wilkins Faculty Development Award is granted to a College faculty member to enhance teaching skills, improve curriculum, advance research opportunities, or take advantage of career development opportunities. Rebecca Olson, Assistant Professor of English, was honored for her archival research in early Modern books and their readers, as well as for her teaching/curricular innovations.
