Undergraduate studies in psychology require coursework that must be fulfilled. If you select psychology as a major, it will culminate with either a Bachelors of Science or a Bachelors of Arts after completing selected required courses. In selecting psychology as a minor, you will also have set requirements that must be completed. Many graduates will continue their education through professional schools, such as law, medicine, or optometry. Others will engage in further study in business or in public administration. Some students will continue their study of psychology at a school with a graduate program to seek advanced degrees in one of the specialty areas of psychology.
